General Questions
1. What third-party VESA mounts can I use my Lilitab with?
The Lilitab can be used with any third-party VESA mount that accepts a 100mm or 75mm mount pattern. You may have to use an adapter or stand-offs supplied with the VESA mount to allow your USB cable to exit the back of the Lilitab enclosure. If the third-party VESA mount does not come with them you can contact Lilitab support for help on how to accomplish this.
Because the mount screws on your third-party VESA mount will be accessible to the public on the rear of the VESA mount we advise using security screws to enhance your Lilitab's theft resistance.
In addition you will need to provide a method for securely routing the USB cable to a wall power outlet. Some third-party VESA mounts have built-in cable routing features which will help get your USB cable to the power adapter that came with your tablet computer. Care should be paid to how the power adapter is secured as this may introduce an opportunity for unauthorized users to access the tablet computer via the exposed USB port.
The Lilitab mount products (Lilitab Standard and Lilitab Surface) do not have any exposed mount screws and encapsulate the power adapter restricting access to the USB cable; consequently they are inherently a more secure option for mounting your Lilitab. Please see the web-site for details.
2. How can I mount my Lilitab flat to a wall?
We recommend you use a Chief FSR-V mount, available online for @$25. The mount accepts a small pad-lock to prevent unauthorized removal of your Lilitab and has a quick disconnect feature to allow tool-less removal of the Lilitab when needed.
3. What are Lilitab's warranty terms?
Lilitab kiosk warrants your product to be from physical defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the original retail purchase. If you discover a defect covered by this warranty we will repair or replace the product at our discretion using new or refurbished components.
Product failures not covered by this warranty:
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing that arise from the correct use of the device. It is limited to defects in materials or workmanship and does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, unauthorized modification, lightning or power surge, extreme heat or cold, and corrosive environments. The warranty also DOES NOT COVER the normal wear and tera on covers, cases, housing, connectors and accessories. The warranty does not apply to any product with a missing, altered or defaced serial number.
Limits of Liability
If these products fail or do not perform as warranted your sole recourse shall be to repair the product as described above. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for damages that result from the failure of this product. These damages include but are not limited to the following; lost profits, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this product. Express or implied warranties are disclaimed. IN NO EVENT WILL LILITAB BE LIABLE FOR MORE THAN THE AMOUNT OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE, NOT TO EXCEED THE CURRENT LIST PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
Lilitab kiosk specifically disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied, and the user shall deem the installation or use of this product an acceptance of these terms.
How to obtain service under this warranty:
RMA numbers are required for all product returns by submitting a support request via our online form found here.
Once a Lilitab kiosk technical support member verifies your have a hardware problem that requires you to return your product you will be issued an RMA number. You must acquire an RMA number and deliver the defective unit to Lilitab kiosk in order to obtain service under this warranty. A sales receipt may be required to verify the original retail purchase. All returned units must have the RMA number visible on the outside of the packaging. You must either use the original packaging or pack the unit securely to avoid damage during shipping. Return Authorizations are valid for 30 days after the RMA number is issued. Ship your product pre-paid to the following address:

Lilitab will pay the return shipping costs for products under warranty. Lilitab is not responsible for the cost of shipping to Lilitab kiosk or the payment of any customs clearance fees or duties.
4. Does Lilitab offer volume discounts for large sales?

7. How should I clean my lilitab?
We recommend a soft, lint free cloth and mild soapy water. You can use Brillianize to remove fingerprints and hand oils. The use of bleach and ammonia based cleaners may degrade the finish of your lilitab.
Lilitab SWIPE Questions
1. How can I verify that my lilitab swipe works when it arrives?
Use the LilySwipe app found in the Apple App Store. When you plug your iPad into a lilitab swipe unit, you will be given the option of downloading an app that works with the lilitab swipe. If you have not already downloaded an appropriate app, allow the process to take you to the App Store and choose the LilySwipe app to download. Then, simply start the app and swipe an ISO (bank) card. The data should appear in the fields of the web page shown.
2. How do I setup lilitab swipe so that it connects to my merchant account?
This will depend on whether you use a custom iOS app or a web site interface. For a custom app, your app developer will construct the code so that it interacts with your merchant processor based on a specific set of requirements provided for Card Present processing. If you are using a web site interface, your web programmer will need to modify your site to work with the lilitab swipe.
3. How do I setup lilitab swipe to allow customers to make purchases from my web site?
This is where you will need to work closely with your web developer to make modifications to your web site's code to allow processing of card data. Your web developer will need to create a JavaScript method to accept card swipe data. An example of this is provided in the default web page code that the LilySwipe app opens on startup. Your web developer should be able to modify that sample JavaScript method for your specific needs.
4. What track information does lilitab swipe read?
By default, the unencrypted readers are configured to read track 1 and track 2 data. However, through specific configuration requests at order time or via customized programming of the native iOS code, there are many settings you can configure in the reader head. Please refer to the SPI MagneSafe Communications Reference Manual that came with the SDK.
5. Can lilitab swipe read non credit card magnetic stripe cards such as driver's licenses?
Yes. Using the LilySwipe app, you can also test reading a standard mag stripe driver's license. Go to Settings and change the home page towww.lilitabtest.com/swipe-dmv.html. Restart the app and you should see a web page set up to read driver's license data. To go back to the ISO (Bank) card page, reset the home page to www.lilitabtest.com/swipe.html
